Why Mediation?

Mediation is a preferable solution to litigation for many reasons, but here are some of the strongest:

Cheaper

It is cheaper for the parties than prolonged litigation through the Court system

More control

The parties create their own solutions rather than it being imposed upon them by a Judge

lESS CONFLICT

It is better for children, who benefit from less conflict and strife between their parents

MORE
pRODUCTIVE

It removes the adversarial nature of litigation, which preserves the best possible chance for the parties to create a productive
co-parenting relationship

What is Mediation?

Mediation is a process where a neutral third party, the mediator, acts as an intermediary during a confidential settlement discussion and attempts to assist the parties in developing options for an amicable resolution of the dispute. Mediation offers an effective, confidential alternative to litigation that is both time and cost efficient.

Mediation allows people who are actually involved in the dispute to have control over how it gets resolved. Whether it is a lawsuit, a business problem, a divorce, a contract dispute or employment issue, conflict can be destructive and costly.

Our team of mediators is here to mitigate that cost and leave the disputing in a better position to move on. Schedule a regular mediation if both sides are represented by attorneys, and a pro-se mediation if neither side or only one side is represented.
